Club Meetings

Our regular club meetings are the first Monday of the month that isn't a holiday.  During the summer months it's at the field, at 7:00pm.  In the winter months, it's in a conference room at the Plainfield Library at 7:00pm.  The room name/number is usually posted at the bottom of the stairs.

Training Program

For the purposes of safety, protection of the Club's flying field privileges, and insurance consideration, the club adopted a flight proficiency levels program.  It is important that our flyers, spectators, and equipment be protected from injury or damage resulting from poor model operation by unsupervised, non-proficient flyers.  Therefore, the levels program was established, not to be punitive or overly restrictive, but to ensure that all reasonable precautions have been taken to help new flyers to progress as rapidly as possible.
